Who are we looking for?
AHI is looking for a results-oriented leader with a history of strong sales and operations success, preferably as a manager in the Poultry or Animal Agriculture field. Candidates may reside in AL, AR, MS, TN, GA, SC, or NC.
What can you expect as a Production Animal Sales Manager?
As a Sales Manager, you will direct and supervise a team of geographically dispersed outside sales and customer service professionals to ensure outstanding customer service, accurate order entry and processing, collaboration between AHI commercial and operational functions, and to generate sales growth per the annual budget. You will play the key role in developing and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability of your region.

Working Conditions |
Physical Demand:

Travel and On-Call:
- 50-60% Travel as required
Qualifications
What background and experience is needed?
The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Poultry Science, Animal Science, Management, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience with a proven track record in sales is required.
In-depth computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office and, specifically, expertise in Excel is required. SAP experience is plus. Previous experience in the following areas: customer service, management is preferred, as is previous experience supervising sales teams. Animal Agriculture experience is a must and specifically Poultry Industry experience is highly desired.
The ability to effectively lead people and build a high performing team, being adaptable, and facilitate ongoing development is key. Possessing a high business acumen, strong decision making skills and a strong customer focus is vital.
