Job Description

This RSVP DVM Territory Manager is a scheduling liaison between 1099/Independent contract veterinarians and client clinics, shelters and non-profits. This position is working in your home office with the occasional travel to local clinics. This person will be supporting a varied geographical area and must be a full time resident of Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia. Primary duties include building trusted relationships with a roster of relief veterinarians and supporting their relief work, servicing regional client clinics by securing appropriately matched relief vets for their shifts, managing a calendar of several hundred relief shift requests a month, and managing the files and contracts for both client clinics and relief veterinarians.

Additional functions

  • Creating/building/maintaining client clinic accounts
  • Onboarding veterinarians/building relationships
  • Facilitating/booking relief shifts and permanent placements
  • Responsible for approving pay/approving billing
  • Conflict resolution between clinics and veterinarians 
  • Record keeping with CRM
  • Some marketing/recruiting 

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma required 
  • 0-2 years of experience working in a Veterinary Practice or related field.
  • Effective communicator (verbal/written) 
  • Attention to detail 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Working Conditions

Physical Demands

  • Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday 
  • May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment
  • Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.  
  • Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendors  
  • Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents

Travel and On-call

  • 2-4 regional trade shows/smaller meetings a year
  • On call 2x a week and up to 50% of the time. - work phone is required
