The eServices Sales Specialist develops client relationships and generates sales revenue. They balance client needs with company objectives and policies. This person communicates effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday. They apply communication skills primarily over the phone. The eServices Sales Specialist has the ability to repetitively overcome rejection from prospective clients. This person will be familiar with Patterson service offerings and be aware of competitive products in the market. They know the key differentiators that make Patterson services stand out. This position will partner closely with the Software Sales Specialists and branch team to generate eService opportunities and enroll customers in eService solution.

Responsible for driving profitable sales growth across Patterson’s eService suite of solutions
Manages eService sales cycle from generating prospects, nurturing leads, conducting product demos, developing proposals, and enrolling customers in subscribed to services.
Represents Patterson as the first line of contact for customers looking for eService solutions by receiving inbound calls and web leads from prospective customers
Performs outbound call campaigns, overcomes customer objections and sells against competitive products
Achieves monthly, quarterly, and year-end sales goals by product, as defined by eService business team and Sales Leadership and grows assigned sales territory over prior year
Establishes strong relationships with defined territory branch teams, Technology Advisors and Sales Specialists
Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and potential customers
Maintains strong understanding of prospective customer segments, competitive products and market trends
Achieves/maintains electronic services compliances
Facilitates the enrollment and setup process
Establishes strong working relationships with vendors
Stays current with industry knowledge and developments
Additional functions
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.
Prepares accurate sales activity, forecasting and tracking reports
Meet or exceed key activity metrics such as outbound calls, demos, and active pipeline
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience
Excellent communication skills with ability to quickly build rapport both over the phone and in-person
Active listening skills with ability to effectively qualify customers, offer appropriate solutions, and overcome objections
Self-motivated with ability to consistently reach sales targets
Thrives in a high activity environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting sales product demonstrations to customers
Dental industry experience
Knowledge of Patterson Dental software offerings and vendor partnerships
Working Conditions
Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand while operating office equipment, such as a computer or telephone for 6-8 hours per day
Ability to talk to customers and business partners via telephone or other technology 4-6 hours per day
Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday
Position involves frequent communication with customers, inside staff, etc. and requires ability to understand and effectively exchange accurate information
Ability to work in an office environment either onsite or remotely
Environmental Factors
This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building’s primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services.
Travel and On-call
This position requires occasional travel (25%) in an national area.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $14.47 - $17.88
