The role of this position is to provide technical support, maintenance and repair for Animal Health International Inc. software - Animal Management Software (AMS). Turnkey Computer Systems (a division of Animal Health International Inc.) provides fully integrated software applications coupled with comprehensive software support and training to meet the unique needs of the feed yard industry.
Essential Functions

Inventory Management: Determines parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests. Manages vehicle inventory and restocks as necessary
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits as issued by company and associated vendors
Install and/or Repair Equipment: Performs standard system installations and tests the functionality of all components. Acquires knowledge on the installation procedures and jobsite protocol from team members. Follows specific manufacturer guidelines and company, OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations related to asepsis. Completes all required service forms (work order entry, inventory, BRH forms, expense reports and/or purchase card statements, time sheet and equipment-related items)
Customer Relations: Works closely with team members in keeping the customer and inside team up to date on project timeline(s)

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.
Mechanical Aptitude: Has the desire to repair, assemble and disconnect mechanical equipment
Customer Service: Supports customer needs through responding in a timely, professional manner. Treats customers in a fair and considerate manner. Builds and maintains customer relationships through follow-up and courteous, approachable interactions
Communication: Understands and convey written and oral information and ideas to our customers. Listens attentively and asks questions when necessary. Uses general terminology to explain technical aspects of using technology to a non-technical audience
Interpersonal Skills: Establishes and maintains productive, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, vendors and colleagues. Responds to difficult people and situations and delivers negative information in a way that preserves relationships
Problem Solving Skills: Goes beyond training to find answers. Anticipates problems and customer needs
Work Ethic: Commitment and desire to work with a sense of urgency and persistence in overcoming obstacles while following Patterson’s business conduct and code of ethics and responsibilities
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must maintain valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to travel in vehicle for several hours in a day
Mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills

Strong customer service skills
Experience with peripherals such as printers, backups, scanners and modems
