- Provides a wide variety of administrative tasks to maintain inventory accuracy and paperwork to support Warehouse Manager in Charge of Production, Regional Controller and Purchasing Department processes. Process, monitors and maintains inventory information using multiple software.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management · Perform material inspections upon request. · Responsible for collecting daily, bi-monthly and monthly order database. · Perform routine stock estimates on in-house work orders. · Verify stock used and finished goods received and report to purchasing. · Complete and maintain all depreciation paperwork and files · Track all machines and update all databases as needed. · Dispose of obsolete inventory as instructed. Environment Factors:
Office or sales environment
- Operating a computer or other office devices, 6 to 8 hours per day.
- Talking or hearing - position involves frequent communication with inside staff colleagues and customers and requires ability to understand and effectively exchange accurate information.
- Reading or sight - requires review of purchase orders, invoices, and other associated paperwork.
Travel and On-Call:
This position requires no travel per week in a local area.
For this position being on-call is not required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational, decision making and analytical skills;
- Must have the ability to work independently within a team environment;
- Ability to learn the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of inventory control and procurement;
- Ability to recognize, define, investigate and determine a creative solution to problems;
- Solid computer skills, including Access, Excel and Word;
- Basic reading and math ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Inventory control and procurement experience a plus
Compensation range for this role: $17.37 - @22.48 per hour.
