Office Clerk

Job Summary

Support all office and administrative operations for the Fulfillment Center.  Responsible for daily office activities including but not limited to: processing vendor invoices, scanning, running reports, event planning and communications, maintain files, data entry, route incoming phone calls, and greet visitors.


Essential Functions

    • Processes vendor invoices for payment
    • Maintains vendor invoice files
    • Scans all necessary purchase orders and invoices to appropriate files
    • Processes and distributes daily operations reports
    • Assists with accounting reconciliation process
    • Enters all building errors accurately into required systems and files
    • Answers telephone and greets guests in a professional manner
    • Creates all orientation paperwork for new employees onsite
    • Updates and maintains employee events and communications board

    • Maintains the housekeeping and sanitation standards of the distribution center including ordering all supplies for facility
    • Conduct New Hire Orientation
    • Process Temporary Agency employees in Fieldglass
    • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Working Environment

Office environment and may occasionally need to enter warehouse.

The fulfillment center is a warehouse for the storage and distribution of dental and veterinary supplies and equipment.  In general, the building's primary work area consists of pallet storage racking, roller storage and small item storage shelving.  The facility uses powered conveyor systems for the transportation of products. Pallet jacks and forklifts are used for palletized products. Some positions require use of safety equipment, which is provided as needed.


Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

             High School diploma  or GED

             1+ years in an office environment

            1+ years customer service experience

            Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite;

            Organized, strong attention to detail, ability multi-task,

            Possess effective customer service skills

            Knowledge of filing systems and familiarity with standard office equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven soft skills – effective communicator, analytical, problem solving, prioritize
