Brand Manager - Aspen

As a Brand Manager you will own the strategy and life cycle planning for our Aspen brand of private label products.  you will work collectively with internal stakeholders and manufacturing partners to drive business while providing the planning, strategy, supportive solutions and marketing tools to deliver strong financial results based on key performance indicators.

Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to exceed annual sales targets and increase conversion

  • Build out go to market strategy and product life cycle backed by market analytics to support the strategy

  • Oversee and maintain all packaging requirements for new and existing product and be responsible for accuracy of information on all SKUs.  Understand FDA packaging requirements as applicable

  • Partner with the Global Sourcing team and purchasing agents to determine timing and readiness of planned production releases

Analysis and Implementation

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, data, business, and industry.  Utilize data for informed decisions and report monthly on product marketing initiatives including print & digital marketing, social media, and ecommerce positioning.

  • Oversee Aspen brand P&L and have a broad awareness of financial health of products, including revenue and expense factors and making recommendations on ways to improve financial state of the product

Communication

  • Develop communications material and value propositions to clearly communicate the “why” of our product both internally and externally

  • Work closely with our sales team to understand the current user journey, identify customer problems and opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or a combination of equivalent education and experience

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization

  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and task follow-up skills. Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and implement best practices in the Product Manager role.

  • Ability to travel 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar product-related role that includes market research, process/product design, project/product planning, and decision-making authority.
  • Knowledge of the Animal Health industry and products
  • Display strong influencing and leadership skills to indirect and direct reports


The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $62,400.00 - $78,800.00
