Accountant
Primary Location Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota Job ID R109113 ApplyAs an Accountant you will be responsible for the financial accounting & controls for the business. the primary responsibilities of the role will include facilitating the monthly close process and ensuring the proper maintenance of accounting controls and processes.
Essential Functions

Support monthly accounting close process for the business.
Prepare key accounting analyses and related journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports.
Preparations of financial statistics and information at appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly intervals
Support business projects from an accounting and control perspective
Support a strong control environment. Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement for internal controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
1 year of experience in accounting or relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to recurring transactions
Excellent prioritization & organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables
Verbal & written communication skills that provide direct, succinct messages and can be understood by financial and non-financial business partners
Ability to identify areas of improvement and work with management to optimize processes
Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with SAP
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
This person must be located within a commutable distance to Mendota Heights, MN. This will be 2 days in the office hybrid model.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $58,900.00 - $72,200.00
