Product Manager - Dolphin Software (Remote)
Primary Location Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota Job ID R105802 ApplyThe Dolphin Product Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and management of key capabilities across our SaaS based dental practice management software to ensure the maximum business value is achieved over the capability’s lifetime. Primary capabilities for this role include modernizing our practice management systems, mobile solutions, and patient education portfolio across the specialty dental market. This role supports the Sr. Director of Product Management in executing overall product vision and go to market strategies. The product manager is responsible for clearly communicating the product vision and customer value, building business cases to support product investment, defining customer insight driven product roadmaps, breaking-down product and feature requirements, and defining key performance indicators and product outcomes to maximize customer value. This role partners closely with engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders across the software business, including, marketing, sales, software technical advisors, product support, operations, and customer success to develop and execute programs that advance selling capabilities.

Product Strategy & Roadmap
Conduct customer and competitive research to inform product strategy, including monitoring and understanding target markets to identify customer needs and technology trends
Single point of contact for aligning stakeholders on product priority and escalation events
Build investment cases and lead approval process for roadmap investment
Partner with stakeholders to build and measure key performance indicators (KPI) of each product and feature release to help inform changes to product and release strategy; Participate in sprint demonstrations and ensure readiness for release content including defining release objectives
Work in partnership with engineering to draft, manage and maintain a roadmap based upon product and release strategy. Engage key stakeholders to gather product feedback and insights to determine how new items impact the existing backlog
Lead input for feature requirements that will inform user stories, story mapping, and user interface design
Work with cross-functional departments to ensure team is updated on planned product and feature releases, operational readiness, and product success across the entire customer experience
Accountable for managing existing and developing strategy to grow new P&L opportunities
Sales & Marketing
Facilitate go-to-market and release readiness deliverables beyond the software development lifecycle including partnering with product marketing to build engaging product training programs for our software sales, software technology advisors, and field sales teams that build their product expertise and selling capacity
Partner with product marketing to assess market competition, define points of difference, and build marketing calendar
Determine product pricing by utilizing market research, reviewing development and sales costs, and soliciting sales input
Identify, share, and operationalize best practices from internal and external software organizations for product management, selling, marketing, and research.
Job Qualifications
·Required Qualifications
·Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or a combination of equivalent education and experience
·At least 3 years of experience in a similar product-related role that includes market research, process/product design, project/product planning, business case development and execution, and decision-making authority.
·Ability to work effectively within a matrixed team structure and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
·Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
·Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills. Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines
·Demonstrated ability to contribute to and implement best practices in the Product Manager role.
·Preferred Qualifications
·Experience with B2B and B2C clinical office software solutions.
·Travel
·This position requires some travel for trade shows, customer visits, and sales meetings.

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $93,100 - $117,400.
