Primary Location Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota Job ID R108214 ApplyThe Senior Modern Workplace Systems Engineer - Workplace Services role is responsible to provide oversight and participate in the architecture, design, engineering, testing and implementation phases of multiple IT projects to ensure the confidential, integrity, and availability of Patterson's information assets and systems. The role is recognized as the subject matter expert in multiple IT domains and platforms and provides Infrastructure consultation on both IT and Business projects across the organization.
Essential Functions
- Lead and participate in the design, implementation, deployment, integration and engineering of Infrastructure solutions to include new solutions and enhancements to existing IT solutions; accountabilities are within network optimization and performance tuning, security architecture and implementation, and standards compliance
- Provide subject matter expertise of baselines to monitor systems and applications for IT related issues; proactively monitor to identify potential issues and consult on resolutions
- Provide guidance, and contribute to the creation of standards, processes, and procedures, ensure accurate and timely updates, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Assist team with prioritization of escalated alerts, service requests, and incidents based on impact of issue; provide assistance and/or training as appropriate
- Seek out, and actively collaborate, with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize IT risks, provide mitigation or remediation recommendations, and implement IT controls
- Provide information to appropriate teams to ensure updated documentation and knowledge management within Workplace Services
- Comply with Company and department policies and standards; perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area or equivalent education and/or experience
- 5 years experience in workplace services, end-user support and/or IT service delivery and
- Experience with workplace technologies and operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android, productivity suites like MS O365, and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and TeamViewer
- Expert level experience with Microsoft Intune management
- Experience with managing Virtual Desktops through AVD and W365/CloudPC
- Experience with implementation and management of endpoint management solutions like JAMF, SCCM and BeyondTrust – Endpoint Privilege Manager Experience with ServiceNow

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $94,100.00 - $117,700.00
