Vendor Account Manager - Core Equipment
Primary Location Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota Job ID R110983 ApplyResponsible for coordinating vendor programs including print and digital advertising, targeted marketing activities and field sales activities/programs. Tasks include developing marketing collateral, implementing sales tools/programs, processing new product information and pricing changes, and maintaining a collaborative relationship with assigned vendors. Serves as the main marketing contact for assigned vendors. Coordinates promotion plan development with vendor, implements plans internally with the goal of growing existing and new customer sales. Works effectively with other functional team representatives (e.g., marketing strategy, legal, regulatory, purchasing/sourcing, business intelligence, in-house agency, etc.) to execute vendor plans and deliver sales of existing and new products/brands.
Essential Functions
- Work with list of assigned vendors to obtain appropriate marketing assets necessary to meet internal production timelines. This includes management of internal workflow process to ensure seamless and timely implementation of projects and adherence to all deadlines
- Serve as vendor liaison, establishing and maintaining contact with key internal functional team members and external vendor team members to those contacts for questions and processes outside of the scope of marketing
- Work collaboratively with product specialists and category marketing teams. Develop marketing priorities within each vendor's product portfolio. Communicate the priorities, key benefits and unique properties to the category teams
- Collaborate with the category marketing teams to identify new promotional opportunities and pitch new digital strategies. Assist with process improvement projects to streamline existing approaches
- Work with the ecommerce and merchandising teams to identify sources of new content and best practices to manage data and assets for all digital programs, increase organizational/vendor knowledge of digital area of expertise and further develop dashboard reporting (key performance metrics) to help drive consumer engagement/campaign success on a monthly basis
- Communicate successes and failures and develop recommendations for future campaigns
- Assist in the coordination of optimized content syndication through digital platforms
- Ensure that advertisements are created to meet the advertising objectives set by leadership team, digital team and the vendor partner
- Work with creative services team to produce promotional materials while ensuring information presented is accurate
- Assist in proof of performance methodology for integrated campaigns
- Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar discipline
- 3 years experience add area of experience
Preferred Requirements
- Interactive marketing experience
- Experience working within cross-functional teams
Skills and Abilities
- Proven successful account management and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strategic omni-channel promotion development is a plus

- Office: This position primarily operates in a professional office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building's primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers, and other office equipment and devices for professional services.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $60,400.00 - $74,000.00
