Responsibilities

We are looking for a Service Technician – Maintenance to join our Montreal technical team. The Service Technician will provide maintenance/repairs on a variety of dental equipment and products. The technician learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to the repair of devices.

Major Duties:

  • Determines the parts, supplies or tools required to complete service requests.

  • Uses, maintains and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate and repair equipment.

  • Repairs equipment to manufacturer specs.

  • Ensures the service commitments are met within standard response time.

  • Work with Sales Representatives' to present Maintenance Agreements to customers.

  • Follow repair and manufacturer schedules for customers on Service Agreements.

  • Complete all required paperwork i.e. work orders, repair tags, equipment loaner tags.

  • Learns and follows specific manufacturer guidelines for repairs as well as all company policies related to asepsis.

  • Trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of all equipment sold.

  • Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.

  • Manages inventory and restocks when necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job qualifications:

  • Electronics diploma or any other relevant experience.

  • Background in contracting, plumbing, mechanics or electrical is preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and excellent decision-making abilities.

  • Knowledge of the dental industry is an asset.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written, in order to communicate with our customers and suppliers.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne déterminée et débrouillarde afin de compléter l’équipe dynamique du service technique de la succursale de Montréal. En tant que technicien de service – maintenance vous aurez à effectuer des réparations, des installations et l’entretien d’équipements de niveau intermédiaire de manière experte, en clinique, sur une variété d’équipements dentaires.

Fonctions essentielles :

  • Répondre de manière autonome aux appels des clients qui lui sont assignés, déterminer la nature du problème d'un module ou d'une composante particulière.

  • Déterminer les pièces, les fournitures et les outils nécessaires pour compléter la demande de service.

  • Communiquer tout problème inhabituel au coordonnateur du service technique suivant chaque appel.

  • Garantir que le temps de réponse standard établi avec le coordonnateur de service est respecté.

  • Charger, livrer, installer, configurer et former les clients sur l'utilisation et l'entretien de base de l'équipement vendu.

  • Utiliser, entretenir et sécuriser les appareils de tests et les outils utilisés pour ajuster, calibrer et réparer les équipements.

  • Remplir toute la documentation requise (feuilles de temps, ordres de service, formulaires du Bureau de la radioprotection, rapports d'inventaire et de dépenses, relevés de carte de crédit et documents liés aux équipements).

  • Retourner les modules ou les pièces défectueuses au siège social et identifier les articles.

  • Maintenir et approvisionner le stock de pièces du camion.

  • Exécuter toute autre tâche qui lui est assignée.

Formation et compétences :

  • Diplôme d’études en électronique, ou toute autre expérience pertinente.

  • Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite en règle.

  • Excellent sens de l’organisation et bonne aptitude pour la résolution de problèmes.

  • Travailleur motivé ayant un bon esprit d’équipe et une habileté manuelle.

  • Détenir 2 à 3 ans d’expérience de travail en réparation sur le terrain, en environnement dentaire ou médical.

  • Connaissance des logiciels offices, (Outlook, Excel, etc.).

  • Connaissance de la plateforme SAP, un atout.

  • Aptitude développée pour le service à la clientèle.

  • Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit afin de communiquer avec nos clients et fournisseurs.
