As the Internal Tele-Sales and Marketing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to contact and market Patterson Dental products and services to current non-purchasing house accounts without assigned sales representatives, and selected assigned accounts chosen by sales for assistance. Regular contact will be made with all accounts via telephone, e-mail, social media and any method where necessary. 


  • 25 Dials and 10 Valuable conversations with lead dental assistant, decision maker and/or Doctor per day.

  • Target call on office needs, AMP offering, Equipment or Technology quotes.

  •  Place orders for assigned accounts.

  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and warm leads to provide solutions to end users.

  • Place orders for assigned accounts.

  • Introduce new products/service and emphasize features and benefits.

  • Communicate promotions and value to relevant customers and prospects.

  • Partner with territory reps to strategically target accounts and work together to win business.

  • Build pipelines with territory reps and specialist assigned accounts to close sales.

  • Source new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

  • Manage social media pages.

  • Work with manufacturers to create monthly targeted sales and flash sales.

  • Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients.

  • Run reports to create customer target list - Example: list of offices that place bulk orders once a year, customers that aren’t purchasing all categories, etc.

  • Develop and grow accounts by checking buying history, suggesting related and new items.

  • Attain and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly quota forecast.

  • Support sales with marketing pieces and information to forward to existing customers. 

  • Create and maintain a proper social media presence within our market area, connecting with dental societies, hygiene societies and study clubs where needed.


  • BS/BA in business and or Marketing

  • 3-5 years industry experience. 3 years Tele-sales Experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and creating PDF and other documents.


  • 3 years Tele-sales experience/proven track record

  • Experience in dental field or industry.

  • Knows Dental Product and Terminology
