Service Technician I - Install Tech

The Service Technician – Installation is responsible for providing training, intermediate level on-site repair, installation and maintenance on a variety of dental products.
Major Duties:
Independently makes assigned customer calls, diagnosing problems to a module or specific component level.
Determines the equipment, parts, supplies or tools needed to complete the install and service requests.
Relays any special problems to Service Coordinator following each call.
Insures that standard response times committed to the Service Coordinator are met.
Loads, delivers, installs, specs and trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment sold.
Uses, maintains and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate and repair equipment.
Learns and follows specific manufacturer guidelines for equipment installs and troubleshooting.
Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, BRH forms, inventory, expense reports and/or purchase card statements or equipment related items).
Returns defective modules assemblies or parts to the local office and labels items.
Ensures proper vehicle maintenance and safe driving habits are followed.
Manages vehicle inventory and restocks as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job qualifications:
Electronics diploma or any other relevant experience.
Background in contracting, plumbing, mechanics or electrical is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and excellent decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of the dental industry is an asset.
Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Valid driver’s license and in order required.
