Credit Administrator

The Credit Administrator provides essential support to the Credit and Cash Applications team by performing a variety of administrative tasks related to customer credit accounts. This role is responsible for assisting with new account setup, processing cash applications, conducting follow-ups, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. By ensuring the integrity of credit data and facilitating smooth financial operations, the Credit Administrator plays a key role in managing organizational risk and delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Provide administrative support to the credit and cash applications departments; maintain accurate credit files and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Assist in processing new credit applications and gathering necessary documentation
  • Review credit reports and internal account payment history for preliminary evaluations or account setup according to the credit matrix
  • Enter and maintain customer account information and credit limits in designated files or loan operating system
  • Assist with preparing credit analyses, reports, and customer account summaries
  • Process incoming ACH authorization forms to include verifying the accuracy of bank routing and account numbers
  • Monitor and maintain daily reports and logs to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to retention requirements; uphold compliance with internal controls and policies
  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 2 years experience with credit reports, cash applications, accounting, or similar field


Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with loan operating system(s)


Skills and Abilities

  • Skilled in reviewing and understanding financial reports, tax documentation, cash flow analysis, and standard accounting practices
  • General organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in all deliverables
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and related tools
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $20.38 - $24.95
