Lead Data Integrations Engineer
Primary Location Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota Additional Location(s) Loveland, Colorado Job ID R109941 ApplyThe Lead Data Integrations Engineer role will lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise integrations across SAP ERP, CRM, MDM (Master Data Management), and eCommerce platforms. This role defines integration standards and governance and architects solutions covering real time APIs, event driven mesh/message integrations, and high volume batch/micro batch data pipelines using Azure Integration Services, SAP Integration Suite, or Informatica IDMC.
*This role will be Hybrid (2-days a week in office) and it is required that you are located within 50 miles of our Corporate Offices in either Mendota Heights, MN or Loveland, CO. In-person attendance is expected to foster collaboration, innovation, and team connection.
Essential Functions
Define and lead integration strategy connecting SAP ERP, CRM, MDM and eCommerce at enterprise scale using one or more of: Azure Integration Services (Data Factory, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid), SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh), or Informatica IDMC (Application Integration, Cloud Integration Hub, Cloud Data Integration). (5+ years leading integration strategy across these platforms required).
Architect and oversee delivery for real time, event driven, and batch patterns.
Establish and enforce best practices, governance, and development standards; lead design reviews and architecture forums; excellence with source code management and CI/CD.
Mentor engineers by introducing new technology via prototypes and proofs of concept.
Guiding performance tuning and error handling strategies.
Drive production readiness and support (runbooks, SLOs, incident management) and partner across teams to resolve complex integration issues.
Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
7 years Experience in enterprise integration (application + data), and
5 years Experience leading strategy to integrate SAP ERP, CRM, MDM, and high volume eCommerce platforms
experience defining and driving data focused architecture across applications, systems, and infrastructure.
experience in security (OAuth2/OIDC, mutual TLS, secrets management, schema validation), governance, and compliance.
Preferred Requirements
Master's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
experience connecting multiple iPaaS solutions and leading the strategy to match appropriate iPaaS to appropriate use cases.
Experience developing business cases and ROI analyses for integration programs.
Attendance/speaking at industry events; leadership of major technical initiatives.
Skills and Abilities
Deep expertise in at least one iPaaS: Azure Integration Services, SAP Integration Suite, or Informatica IDMC; broad knowledge of integration patterns, API management, event driven architecture (EDA), and data pipelines.
Proven ability to coordinate across products and platforms.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions
Lead development of complex, multi-system integrations
Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and patterns
Review code and provide technical guidance to team members
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders on solution design
Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration architectures
Ability to lead technical discussions and influence design decisions
Ability to mentor and coach junior and associate engineers
The compensation range for this role is below.
$120,000 - $140,000
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $109,100.00 - $136,300.00
