Job Summary

Directly responsible for the daily administration of all loans.  Acts as the primary contact for all loan processing including loan funding and problem resolution with regards to loan processing.

Loan Management

  • Review all installment loan files and loan documents for completeness and accuracy ensuring compliance with Patterson policies and state and federal regulatory requirements.  Includes monitoring of system generated or department reports using Microsoft Excel.

  • Coordinate the implementation/booking of all new loans and all applicable changes to existing loans

  • Manage the receipt, scanning and indexing of loan files or documents from internal departments, third party vendors or external business partners such as title companies and loan customers.

  • Monitor lending production adherence to regulatory compliance by reviewing loan documents. Suggest and/or conduct training where needed.

  • Maintain and manage loan file and document status information through the use of both system generated and manually prepared reports, adhering to established follow-up procedures. Document receipt into information systems or department’s manual reports.

  • Communicate by phone, written or electronic communication with internal and external customers as needed to accurately complete loan files within prescribed timeframes and establish payment plans for outstanding loans.

  • Utilize department communications in order to keep up-to-date with Patterson procedural policies.  Assist management with maintaining department policy and procedure manuals.

  • Prepare loan documents and reports to identify outstanding issues, department goals and training/development needs.

  • Perform analysis on loans booked to determine booking trends and provide guidance to the leadership team

Additional Functions

  • Projects that arise from our day to day business, such as analysis requested by marketing or audit requests

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in business or combination of high-school diploma and equivalent work experience in finance, accounting or loan processing.

  • Be able to construct and/or articulate the workings of an amortization schedule.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Attention to detail

  • High degree of professional communication skill

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with SAP

  • Knowledge of loan origination, structuring and service requirements

Working Conditions

Physical Demands

  • Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday 

  • May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment 

  • Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing

  • Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendors  

  • Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents

Environmental Factors

This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building’s primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services.  


The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $20.38 - $24.95
