Sourcing Analyst

Job Summary
The Sourcing Analyst supports the organization's sourcing strategy by identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and service. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, drive competitive bidding processes, and manage supplier relationships.

The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the selection, hiring, onboarding, and invoicing process of contractors with our Vendor Management System (VMS-Fieldglass). Provide cost‐effective and process efficient procurement, and supplier management expertise, bringing an end-to-end centralized Contract Labor Program. 

This position requires a strong ability to multi-task and be proactive in maintaining a broad scope of operational activities while being detailed oriented.

The position operates with moderate independence and uses professional judgment to execute sourcing activities that contribute to operational efficiency and value creation.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the internal Managed Services Provider (MSP) program

  • Review, approve, and release job postings to approved suppliers within Fieldglass

  • Confirm assignment logistics between internal business and supplier regarding the contractor’s assignment information (i.e., start and end date, location, rates, hours, etc.)

  • Review the onboarding items are completed within VMS, including ensuring that all compliance requirements have been met (background checks and drugs)

  • Coordinate with internal team to resolve internal stakeholder’s questions

  • Act as a liaison between client, recruiters, vendors, and candidates/consultants

  • Responsible for monitoring existing contract expiration and initiating contract renewals, FTE conversions, and terminations

  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures as well as all relevant negotiated terms, country laws, and regulations are being managed within VMS

  • Ability to lead and manage project based work such as rate card development and implementation, program process improvement, vendor scorecard development and implementation, supplier rationalization, report on program health

  • Lead sourcing events (RFIs/RFQs/RFPs) by gathering business requirements, prequalifying suppliers, managing bid cycles, and evaluating proposals to recommend optimal supplier selections that meet cost, quality, and service expectations

  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contract redlines with suppliers in partnership with legal and business teams to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, continuous improvement discussions, and alignment to category strategies to support long term value creation

  • Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier risk indicators to identify sourcing opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and inform category strategies

  • Execute contract lifecycle activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely routing of agreements while partnering with internal stakeholders for approvals

  • Coordinate supplier integration activities, ensuring smooth onboarding, alignment to service-level expectations, and adherence to procurement policies

  • Support cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR, Operations) by providing sourcing insights, cost analyses, and supplier recommendations to enable informed decision-making

  • Ensure end-to-end procurement process compliance, including documentation accuracy and adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields or equivalent education and/or experience

  • 2 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations


Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and sourcing/procurement tools

  • Professional certification such as CPSM (ISM), APICS, or similar

  • Experience with supplier performance management and category strategy development

  • Exposure to corporate legal or contract lifecycle management platforms (e.g., GEP, Ariba, Coupa, Ironclad)

  • Experience with contingent staffing across categories, understanding of the IT job market and procurement practices


Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations and manage redline cycles with suppliers and legal counsel

  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in spend analysis, data interpretation, and reporting

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, supplier risk evaluation, and compliance requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and sound judgment when balancing cost, risk, and service levels

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $68,300.00 - $83,600.00
