Office Designer

As an Office Designer, you will bring dental, and medical, environments to life by creating thoughtful, functional layouts using Autodesk Revit and real-time rendering tools. In this role, you’ll partner with customers, architects, and internal teams to translate project needs into detailed designs, 3D renderings, and construction drawings that support efficient workflows and modern aesthetics. This is an opportunity to combine technical design expertise with creativity while managing multiple projects and directly impacting the success of healthcare practices.
Essential Functions

Operational:
Utilizes Autodesk Revit and Real Time Rendering Software to provide 3D Renderings and walkthroughs of potential dental office layouts to internal and external customers
Completes Mechanical Construction drawings for Patterson Equipment for Architect’s review and inclusion in permit sets
Provide design layouts for up to 5+ projects a week
Complete multiple revisions for projects via feedback from internal/external customer and architect
Incorporates the needs of the client into design recommendations
Collaborates with fellow designers on design and software issues
Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Communication:
Effectively communicates the progress of a project to appropriate personnel to ensure their awareness of the activities, the degree of resource investment, and to assure that the project / activities continue to meet goals
Customer service focused and able to present findings/ reports to peers competently
Problem Solving:
Easily assesses project needs, existing space conditions, and desired equipment to quickly provide the design solution
Ability to navigate multiple design problems at one time
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.

Required Qualifications
Two/Four-year degree Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or other related field is preferred
1-3 years of experience using Autodesk Revit software
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of knowledge and experience in general space planning in healthcare design (in particular dental, medical, or vet)
Working knowledge of basic construction documents/sheet sets
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills and decision-making abilities
Physical Demands
Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday
May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment
Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing
Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendors
Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents
Environmental Factors
This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building’s primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services.

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $25.72 - $31.49
