Agile Program Manager

The role will leverage agile management skillsets to continuously evolve product development process to reduce waste and improve efficiency. They will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and adoption of agile framework solutions across the organization by leading complex initiatives from initiation to successful delivery. The Agile Program Manager will also help build strong communities and shape our culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
The Agile Program Manager is directly responsible for ensuring all key steps in program delivery are executed and completed: business, technical and functional requirements elicitation; dependency mapping; milestone projections; task-level program steps; and identification and regular publication of metrics which define success. The position must regularly monitor work to ensure that programs and underlying initiatives remain in line with projected costs and timelines. This is accomplished by ensuring the adoption of well-established, industry best practice frameworks and methodologies.
Essential Functions
Negotiate business priorities with senior leaders and guide them through the governance process.
Manage and lead strategic or complex initiatives across multiple teams and/or departments.
Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure product success, including successful integration of dependent projects and initiatives.
Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners and driven to resolution in a timely manner.
Partner with leadership to develop, deploy and govern program / agile management standards, best practices, and program / agile success measures.
Collaborate with our business partners to understand their business requirements and the architectural enablement necessary to deliver upon the business requirements. Innovate on best practices for our team and advocate for improved processes with our internal partners
Manage large and complex product launches across multiple teams and takes accountability to efficiently manage the program outcomes and objectives
Leverage data and metrics to derive insights and continuously identify improvement opportunities. Drive these improvement opportunities to fruition
Be the champion of Agile Software Product development processes and ensure team process compliance during product development
Additional functions
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the Agile Program Manager may perform the following additional functions.
Facilitates completion of product software development lifecycle documentation and controls
Provides inputs for the creation of, and drafts and presents them for review.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or a combination of equivalent education and experience
5+ years of experience in a similar technology-related role that includes process/product design, project/product planning, and decision-making authority.
Ability to gather, synthesize, and create action plans based on feedback from multiple stakeholders and across multiple teams.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to and implement best practices in the Agile program.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate and influence at multiple levels in the organization
Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills. Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of dental and veterinary industry. Knowledge of ecommerce platforms.
Knowledge of and experience implementing industry standard agile principles in large products and organizations. For example, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, Scrum of Scrum, etc
Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale initiatives across multiple teams/organizations in support of business goals.
Must be located in Minnesota.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $106,400.00 - $133,000.00
