Financial Analyst

Patterson Companies is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide customer facing reporting and business analysis for our Strategic Accounts Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong excel background, attention to detail and a proven track record for delivering reporting and analysis within a financial environment.

Major Duties

• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving work environment
• Navigate complex systems and data independently with minimal training
• Produce sales and operational reports for internal stakeholders and external customers
• Gather, analyze, and develop reports using SAP, MicroStrategy, and business intelligence tools
• Interpret operating metrics and connect financial performance to business strategy
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
• Serve as the primary contact for ad hoc reporting requests
• Track and calculate customer rebates on a quarterly and annual basis
• Prepare financial reporting packages for customer business reviews
• Document reporting processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business or related field
• 2+ years of work experience in related field or business
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically advanced Excel skills, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop reports in multiple environments (i.e., SAP, MicroStrategy, Business Intelligence tools)
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
• Understanding of business process and experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with the rest of the team
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in complex systems with little supervision
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Adapts to changing priorities and manages deadlines

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $68,300.00 - $83,600.00
